Track & Field is her life. Or to be more precisely: sprint. Leichtathletik ist ihr Leben. During the national championships in South Africa she falls over a hurdle and has been seriously injured. Her whole knee was broken. There was no way to continue on doing sprint, but Irmgard Bensusan didn’t care. After that she keeps on running on competitions but with her knee she doesn’t stand a chance. With her injury and her broken nerves she is not able to run even close as fast as before the injury but the national association does not want to accept her injury as a disability. No reason for her to stop fighting for her dream.

We accompanied Irmgard Bensusan on her way tot he Paralympic Games in Rio 2016.
